Welcome
“The Bothy” in Rousky is a beautifully converted traditional stone barn providing luxurious self-catering accommodation in the heart of the Sperrin Mountains. This recently restored building with exposed wood, brick and stone creates a warm relaxed setting from which to explore the natural beauty of the area. “The Bothy” retains all the beauty of the old without compromising on comfort.
Location
“The Bothy” is situated in Rousky, a small hamlet near the village of Gortin, along the Owenreagh Valley, in the Sperrin Mountains. Only 20 minutes outside the market town of Omagh this designated area of outstanding natural beauty is ideal for relaxed walking, fishing, cycling and a host of other outdoor pursuits. The Sperrin’s network of small streams and rivers along with a plentiful supply of Salmon and Trout make it ideal for the angler. After a leisurely day spent exploring the hills and valleys of Tyrone return to “The Bothy” and enjoy a barbeque and catch the stunning sunsets.
